We absolutely loved our stay on the farm, a quiet space with a wide open sky. Proximal to the tulips, great biking, hiking, etc. We got fresh eggs and sausage for breakfast and had a nice campfire in the evening. Perfect! We will be back. Cheryl Minkoff 2024-04-14 We had the pleasure staying at Oostema Farmstead on Site 1 with our 5th Wheel for a few dayz. Location was perfect. The view was spectacular. The animals were sweet. The Hot Tub was AMAZING. And we even purchased a little bit of beef from them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We will hopefully be back in the future. Thanks again, Lisa and Glen. Unfortunately the weather was not the best it rained pretty much the whole time but it made for a very quiet relaxing stay. M S 2024-03-23 Our second time staying at the farm, this time we stayed in the little farmhouse and it was incredibly comfortable with all amenities we could want for our 3 day getaway. The sunrises and sunsets were picturesque and we had fun wanderingin the raspberry fields and checking out the cows in the barn. Enjoyed our sirloin in pad Thai and again in a stroganoff. Downtown is a short drive and there are many great places to eat nearby. So close to Birch Bay and Semiahmoo Spit, plus an easy drive into the North Cascades, and we had beautiful weather to enjoy the outdoors in spring. Lisa and Glen are excellent hosts and quick to share local knowledge, easily available but not intrusive. We visit our kids in Bellingham and this will be our GoTo spot to stay when in the area.
